| The "Mary Miller" queen size loveseat/ottoman LofaBed was inspired by Mary Miller, a customer from Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Mary first wrote in November of 2006 with the idea to "grow" the width of a 54" loveseat mattress to 60". That would result in a futon measuring 60"x54". Then she suggested enlarging the length of our loveseat ottoman from 54" to 60" AND increasing the width from 21" to 26". Of course, when you slide the two components together, they would then measure a standard queen-size 60"x80", perfect for fitted sheets!
I was so pleased (and stunned) by the idea, that I immediately bounced it off the factory for feedback. Like most small factories, they HATE doing anything new, but this time they couldn't come up with a reason not to.....and so they made it. It's such a good idea, I named it after Mary Miller. In fact, the only problem I have with it is that I didn't think of it first! mw
